Jeffrey Sears – Program Director/Trainer

Jeff grew up in the Napa Valley where he was involved with athletics from a very young age. Jeff
participated on a variety of baseball and basketball teams in his younger years before focusing on
basketball. He played in high school and briefly at Napa Valley College, before transferring to Sonoma
State University to concentrate on his education. Wanting to stay involved with athletics, Jeff opted for a
Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. While at Sonoma State, Jeff kept busy playing for basketball and
softball intramural championship teams, along with honing his own personal fitness and wellness.

Most recently, Jeff has been working in corporate wellness, personal training, teaching indoor fitness
classes, outdoor boot camp classes, and designing/implementing sports performance training programs for
children and teens.

Dr. John Spencer Ellis

Each week, over one million people around the world enjoy a fitness program created by John Spencer Ellis.
His fitness programs are implemented in the top resorts, spas and health clubs. John is the President of
NESTA (National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association) and the Spencer Institute for Life Coaching. These
two professional associations have 45,000 members in 30 countries. John is on the Advisory Boards of the
National Health, Wellness and Prevention Congress, Exercise TV, Conference for Healthy Living, Irvine
Valley College, Get America Fit Foundation, and is a Fellow of the National Board of Fitness Examiners. He
is the author of "How Badly Do You Want It? - Your Ultimate Guide to Optimal Fitness," and a contributor to
"Power of Champions." He created Adventure Boot Camp, the largest fitness boot camp program in the world.

His signature series of outdoor fitness equipment is used in communities worldwide. John has been featured
or quoted in every major fitness publication, and held the post of Fitness Editor for OC Flair magazine. John
has been featured on NBC, CBS, PBS, SPIKE, ESPN & Bravo. He serves as an on-air expert for Life &
Leisure Television and Health Journal Television with General Norman Schwarzkopf. He is the producer and
host of The OC Body on The Healthy Living Channel. John is a Nautilus sponsored athlete and stars in the
workout DVDs Playground Boot Camp™ & Kung-Fu Fitness™. John created the fitness program used by the
U.S. Secret Service and he consults the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championships).

John has been continuing his professional education since 1987, and holds bachelors degrees in business
and health science, an MBA, and a doctorate in education. He is currently completing a second doctorate in
naturopathy. He has fifteen certifications including massage therapy, plyometrics, self-defense, fitness kick
boxing, fitness boxing, water fitness, exercise rehabilitation, golf conditioning, Pilates, personal training,
clinical hypnotherapy, sports hypnosis, PACE circuit training and yoga. He holds a 2nd degree black belt in
kung-fu, has completed the Ironman triathlon, and finished 5th at the U.S. National Biathlon Championships.
His medical training includes a license in radiological technology, a medical assisting certification, and
training in McKenzie rehabilitation. John was nominated for the California Community College Distinguished
Alumni Award.
Jaron Eliopoulos - Program Director/Trainer

Jaron grew up in Marin County, CA.  From a young age, he was enthusiastic about sports and exercise.  
Jaron played baseball and basketball on organized sports teams up until high school.  He was also very
involved with soccer, which he played for 10 years, stopping after his sophmore year on the high school
Varsity team.  After completing high school, Jaron moved to Rohnert Park, CA to attend Sonoma State
University.

It was in college that Jaron's passion for sports and exercise grew to new heights.  He managed and played
on Sonoma State University intramural sports teams including: basketball, softball, volleyball, indoor soccer,
outdoor soccer, dodge ball, bowling, and a 60 student ping pong tournament.  Jaron has won intramural
championships for: mens' A league basketball, mens' 3v3 basketball, bowling, softball, and the ping pong
tournament.

Through Sonoma State University, Jaron attained his B.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Lifetime
Fitness.  Jaron's course work included such classes as: Human Anatomy, Human and Exercise Physiology,
Biomechanics, Nutrition, Exercise Instruction, and Musculoskeletal Evaluation,Training, & Treatment.

Jaron was involved in a semester-long internship at 21st Century Health Club in Cotati, CA.  Along with his
involvement in Sonoma County Adventure Boot Camp, Jaron currently works as a personal Trainer for the
Novato YMCA.

Nora  Bulloch
RD, MA, MPH - Registered Dietition/Nutritionist

Nora has been a registered dietitian and health educator for 17 years.  She holds a masters degree in
nutrition education and a masters degree in public health nutrition and has developed and facilitated
many health education and weight control groups. Nora unravels health information and offers
personalized nutrition and weight control solutions for each person.
